About: My interest in personal-history writing spans from 2005 until the present. My business, Journey Pages, has helped many to write their stories. In 2014 I returned to school for my degrees in English -- my bachelor's degree emphasizing in creative writing, and my master's degree emphasizing in both creative writing and also literature which brought such light to my life. I learned personally through my education and my own experiences, for those I teach at the university and for my personal-history clients, that writing our stories helps bring light to our lives. Since 2014, this is how I teach, how I write, and how I help others to write to find light in their stories. Writing from this place and helping others do the same brings joy I never expected to find. I truly believe that writing from our experiences to understand the truth within is meant for our good from our Father in Heaven. He wants us to become. Our stories are meant to help us see truth within and become who He means for us to be. I can't think of another way for greater happiness. This is my passion and what I love to share with all my clients
Specialty Focus Groups: My personal history business focuses on telling your story the way you need it to be told. Our stories give back if we allow them to. Through my experience as a personal historian, my education, and my own privileged experiences, I am skilled in helping my clients find these moments to bring light into their lives through writing their stories. Whether these are told through Guided Autobiography or other workshops I offer ... or through the writing of personal or family histories, each is the same -- a sacred and unique journey to discover truth through the pages of your writing that will change your life. For those who struggle with writing, I'm also skilled in interviewing and love shared moments with my clients to bring out those stories you most want to shine in your special book. When your story brings that light and you'd like to have it published into a beautiful book for your posterity, I take great pleasure in creating a high-quality, archival book of such beauty that your story will shine through. I love learning the stories of others. We each have such great value. Too many have forgotten what value they hold. My greatest wish for my business is to help others see the value that is them, the value that Heavenly Father wants us to find, and the value that, if seen and understood, can change our lives. This is what I love to do most, and what I do well.
