Cynthia Heidorn

About: Cynthia Heidorn, PhD, is a Certified Guided Autobiography Instructor and Certified Genealogist®. She holds a Certificate in Genealogical Research from Boston University's Online Program. She taught for the Salt Lake Institute of Genealogy. She is a mentor for the National Genealogy Society Advanced Skills Courses. She will be the 2026 mentor for ProGen 70 study groups. Her current projects include offering courses in Guided Autobiography for genealogists, writing documented ancestor stories, and expanding her digital archives to memorialize her family's history. Dr. Heidorn is a retired public-school superintendent.
