About: I am Susan Curtin, a retired professor with a passion for lifelong learning and thriving rather than surviving the third third of life. I moved to the beach in retirement because for me thriving is reading books of my choice with toes in the sand. My love for lifelong learning and storytelling led me to Guided Autobiography. I was certified in 2021 and consider it a privilege to join others on the journey of reflection, reminiscence, and reframing as we capture our unique life stories. The gift of a small, supportive group on the same journey is priceless. My over twenty years teaching online courses prepared me for the format of online learning, but I was less prepared for the joys of sharing and listening to life stories in a writer’s own words.
