Ana Rita Melo

About: In 2007, I had the privilege of meeting James Birren during an academic encounter while studying as an international student at San Francisco State University. As a psychologist, gerontologist, and historian of science, I bring a multidisciplinary perspective to my work. In 2016, I completed the Guided Autobiography (GAB) instructors training with Cheryl, and since then, I've facilitated several GAB groups. I am passionate about helping individuals reflect on and share their life stories through this structured and supportive group approach and look forward to guiding more groups in the future.
