About: Retired after many years in nursing and healthcare education and administration. Training and experience in these roles included certification in Geriatric Nursing and work in advanced facilitation. After retiring, I took up Creative Non-Fiction as a hobby with special interest in memoir, personal stories, and flash pieces. In 2016 I learned about Birren Guided Autobiography and completed the certification class with Cheryl. Since that time, I have a lot of personal essays in various stages of revision and periodically teach classes. I really enjoy people's stories and working with small groups.
